Harvest

I've been so busy as of late I've had no time to post at all. The Toronto International Film Festival is finally over, so I'm looking forward to having a bit more time to myself over the next little bit. I was worn a little ragged by the unstopping flow of customers, but I have time to rest. I'm also recovering from a nasty head cold that made me rather bitter over the past week as well. Thank goodness it's almost over! A little thing that's on my mind that's been bugging me for quite some time is rather.. well, queer. I've been seeing darting shadows, small and close to the ground, that I notice really quickly, and that disappear almost as quickly. It's really disquieting to think that there are somehow mice running around my apartment, even though I have two highly energetic cats! But then, I started noticing them outside, in parks, darting behind lamp posts and newsstands.. It's really starting to bother me. It's like seeing a small bat or mouse dart really quickly between hiding places. Actually.. That's exactly it. It's like I've accidentally seen something that I wasn't supposed to, and that it's hiding from me. I know I'm not the only person to have seen things like this, but I'm at a complete loss as to what they really are. A land wight maybe? Whatever it is.. I know most people have no idea what I'm talking about when I mention it. My boyfriend thinks I'm quite insane. I know I shouldn't be scared or anything, it's hardly a vindictive presence or anything trying to scare me. But then.. Not knowing what it is, is really starting to freak me out. Any ideas?
